We are looking for a smart, driven and creative problem solver to join Jumbotail’s Credit and Payments team to help us provide modern financial services and credit to small kirana shopkeepers. It’s through these shopkeepers that most Indian’s buy the food and groceries they eat everyday. You’ll be working on the cutting edge intersection of food, technology, entrepreneurship fueling India’s economic development and future prosperity.
Location: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategies to test and drive product adoption amongst our customers.
- Hire, train and lead a team of Credit Onboarding Executives who will educate customers about and onboard them onto new products.
- Build processes around communication, education, and incentivisation in collaboration with our Customer Experience colleagues to ensure customers are able to use new products.
- Manage relationships day to day with financial partners to bring the latest product innovations in payments and credit to our customers.
Skills
- Directly applicable experience at a NBFC, MFI or similar financial institution focused on the financial inclusion of small and medium enterprises would be a significant advantage.
- Excellent team building skills are a must. The candidate should have experience building and managing a mid sized team. Prior experience leading a team of field executives/agents is a plus.
- High quality problem solving skills are critical. The candidate needs to be able to think of creative strategies for customer engagement.
- Sharp analytical skills to collect, analyze and act on data to understand customer behavior and optimize field executive effectiveness is key.
- 2-4 years experience in similar roles expected or an MBA from premier institutes will be a plus.
